Lady and the Tramp Nail Art

I have some more Disney nail art for your enjoyment! Lady and the Tramp has been highly requested and it's taken me a while to get inspired enough to actually do it. I couldn't make up my mind on how to do the other nails and background color, but I'm really happy with how they turned out.

These were requested by Angelica, and 2 anonymous followers.

Of course I had to feature the iconic spaghetti kiss scene. ;)
I started with Essie Very Structured on all of my nails. 2 coats. I immediately got a big ding on my thumbnail, but I just kept going.

I applied one coat of China Glaze In Awe of Amber to all of my nails.

Then I started in on the details of the characters using acrylic paints. I build them up from the bottom layer to the top.

Here I was done with the characters, but I didn't like the other nails. So I removed them and layered another 2 coats of Essie Very Structured.

I changed them by then just applying ChG In Awe of Amber as french tips. I did this same thing on my right hand and wore this as a manicure for 2 whole days! Normally I don't do that with my cartoon manis because it doesn't really jive with living a normal life. Lol. But these were actually quite discreet because they were neutral colors and from a distance you couldn't really notice. :)

  4. Whoa they're gorgeous!!! I'm in loveeee

  5. I love it! That's... Amazing. I would never be able to draw like this on my nails.

  6. So so adorable! That scene is one of the cutest ever to be in a movie. You recreated the characters perfectly!
I had a Cocker Spaniel that was blond like Lady too, only her name was Ariel because of the Little Mermaid.

  7. This could possibly be the cutest thing ever.

  8. Random question: Do you only paint one hand with this type of art or do you do both?

Love these nails BTW, my fav movie when I was younger, used to call it woof woofs :-)

    1. Yes, I only paint my left hand with the complex characters from cartoons. I have the best control that way because I'm painting with my dominant hand. If I wear these designs out and about, I do something simple on the other nails as I mentioned in the post. :)

  9. We LOVED it was perfect ...
You and your art are to be congratulated!

  10. I love this design!!! You're so unbelivable talented!! Thank you so much for sharing your designs :)

  13. Awwww, this is too adorable! I love it!

  14. You are really an artist! I can follow some nail art things. But nothing would come of my attempt to do this other than blobs! I am still working on dots and lines with nail taping coming up a close third! These are amazing! This was the first movie my sister ever saw. Mine was Bambi. Because my sister is gone now seeing these really classic Disney characters really warm my hart. I always will like the characters that came into Disney when Walt was still alive and in control. My grandfather was given a job offer to work for Disney back before Steamboat Willy time and he turned the art job down thinking it would never amount to anything! I still have a lot of his sketches which yes, do include drawings of Disney characters! If he had only known.

  15. I remain delighted with the designs ♥ As do the faces? you have to have a channel on youtube =)best regards! Micaela
